On May 28, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by Petr Sokol, Chair of the European Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and a member of the parliamentary Friendship Group with Armenia.
The Ambassador outlined Armenia’s key foreign policy priorities and the government’s ongoing efforts to establish lasting peace, with particular emphasis on unblocking regional transport links and advancing the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative.
The two sides exchanged views on bilateral issues and recent regional developments. They also discussed prospects for expanding interparliamentary cooperation, including ways to strengthen the activities of the friendship groups operating within the legislative bodies of both countries.
