General information

Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Slovenia were established on 12 July 1994.

On 16 October 2019, Ashot Hovakimian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Slovenia (with residence in Prague), presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor.

On 7 March 2024, Mateja Prevolšek, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Slovenia to the Republic of Armenia (with residence in Kyiv), presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan.

  • Protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia on cooperation. Signed on 18 April 2002 in Yerevan.
  • Convention between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and Property. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on Cooperation in the Fields of Education, Science and Culture. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on Economic Cooperation. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Memorandum of Cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and Armenia. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Elimination of Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic Passports. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Memorandum of Cooperation between the Armenian Development Agency and the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments. Signed in October 2010 in Yerevan.
  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Slovenia on Cooperation in the Field of Tourism. Signed in April 2011 in Ljubljana.
  • Protocol between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia on Cooperation in the Process of European Integration. Signed in April 2011 in Ljubljana.
