On February 4-5, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Hovakimyan paid a working visit to Zagreb

On February 4-5, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian paid an working visit to Zagreb.
The Ambassador was received by the Croatian Minister of Culture and Media, Nina Obuljen Koržinek. The interlocutors praised the active cooperation between the Zagreb Academy of Music and the Yerevan Conservatory, the exchanges of performers and students, to which the Academy's professor Ruben Dalibaltayan and the vice-president of the Armenian-Croatian Community, pianist Eva Kirchmayer Bilić, made a great contribution. The prospects for cooperation in other areas, the renewal of the bilateral agreement on cultural cooperation, participation in cultural festivals and conferences, and cooperation within the framework of UNESCO were discussed.
At the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ambassador Hovakimian was received by the State Secretary for Political Affairs Frano Matušić, State Secretary for European Affairs Andreja Metelko Zgombić, State Secretary for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation Zdenko Lučić, as well as Ambassador Romana Vlahutin, Special Envoy for Strategic Connectivity and National Coordinator of the Three Seas Initiative.
At the Croatian Parliament (Sabor), the Ambassador met with Dario Pušić, Chairman of the Croatia-Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group.
During the meetings, the prospects for further activation and expansion of bilateral relations, organization of the high-level visits, developments in the South Caucasus and the Western Balkans, and cooperation in the international platforms were discussed.
Ambassador Hovakimian presented to his colleagues the steps aimed at institutionalizing the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and strengthening regional connectivity, including the adoption of the framework for the implementation of the "TRIPP Path" project and other ongoing processes.
The Ambassador visited the Zagreb Innovation Center (ZICER), where he toured and met with the center's CEO, Frane Šesnić. The prospects for cooperation between Armenian and Croatian startups and the opening of TUMO centers in Croatia were discussed.
The Ambassador also met with members of the Armenian-Croatian Community.
