On December 9, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Marko Đurić. During the meeting, the sides discussed prospects for the development of Armenia–Serbia bilateral relations, emphasizing the importance of deepening political dialogue and expanding cooperation in various fields. Ambassador Hovakimian presented to the Foreign Minister the agreements reached on August 8 of this year in Washington. The parties also addressed the Government of Armenia’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative and its key component, the TRIPP project, highlighting their significance in the context of regional connectivity.
On December 10, Ambassador Hovakimian was received by Serbia’s Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, Jagoda Lazarević. The meeting addressed issues related to the promotion of trade and economic cooperation between Armenia and Serbia, as well as matters connected to Armenia’s participation in the EXPO 2027.
