On November 15, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Minister of European Affairs of the Czech Republic Mikuláš Bek.

The parties exchanged views on the prospects of Armenia-European Union cooperation, the course of events and initiatives within the framework of the Czech Presidency in the EU Council.

Ambassador Hovakimian profoundly presented the consequences of Azerbaijan’s aggression against Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity and the following security situation, the activities carried out by Armenia to promote the peace agenda in the region, the humanitarian issues resulting from the Artsakh war and the existing security challenges. In this context, the importance of the deployment of the EU Monitoring mission to Armenia was highlighted in terms of establishing regional security and peace.
