Working visit of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Ashot Hovakimian to Belgrade

On March 3-4, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian met in Belgrade with Ivica Radović, State Secretary, and Aleksandar Jović, the Assistant Minister for International Cooperation and European Integration of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ambassador Vladimir Marić, Assistant Foreign Minister for Bilateral Cooperation and Ambassador Vera Vukićević, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs.

The interlocutors discussed in detail the security environment in Europe, particularly in the Western Balkans and South Caucasus, the cooperation in bilateral political, economic, consular and legal spheres, the prospects of organisation of the high-level visits, the establishment of the Armenia-Serbia Intergovernmental Economic Commission, the holding of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

While in Belgrade, Ambassador Hovakimian also met with Miša Đurković, Director of the Institute for European Studies, with eminent Serbian Orientalist and Diplomat, Professor Darko Tanasković and Director of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade Tijana Čolak-Antić Popović.
