The meeting of the Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Đorđe Raduloviċ

On January 21, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Đorđe Raduloviċ. The prospects to enhance the bilateral relations after the end of the corona virus crisis were discussed. The parties agreed on the need to maintain political consultations, to consider visa liberalisation, to restore cooperation between the partner capital cities Yerevan and Podgorica, to boost cooperation in the framework of international organisations, in the fields of economy, culture, tourism.

Ambassador presented the details and consequences of the aggression by the Azerbaijan and Turkey against Artsakh, the steps being undertaken to address the humanitarian crisis, particularly, the urgency of the solution of the issue of the safe repatriation of the prisoners of war and captured citizen, and the need to restore the Nagorno Karabakh peace process in the framework of the Co-Chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group.

At the Foreign Ministry Ambassador had meetings with the State Secretary Ljubomir Mišuroviċ, Director General for Bilateral Affairs Darko Uskokoviċ, Chief of the Diplomatic Protocol Zdenka Raduloviċ.
