The regular sitting of the Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation

Given the postponement, resulting from the "COVID-19" pandemic, of the regular sitting of the Armenian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, the Co-chairs of the commission, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Varos Simonyan and the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Martina Tauberová conducted an online consultation on economic issues with the participation of the Ambassadors of the two countries- Ashot Hovakimian and Bedřich Kopecký. The parties touched upon the situation caused by the pandemic and the statistical figures in the two countries, discussed the economic measures undertaken to overcome the consequences of the pandemic and their effectiveness, the current state of bilateral economic relations and further possibilities for their promotion. The sides agreed to make use of such communication tools for keeping the dialogue between the parties active and the discussion of practical actions.
