On June 11, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament, the Leader of the Freedom and Direct Democracy party Tomio Okamura. The Ambassador thanked Mr. Okamura and some members of his party for their statements on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the commemoration of the Armenian Genocide․ A. Hovakimian presented the internal political developments and the reform agenda underway in Armenia; the sides discussed the peculiarities of the Armenian foreign policy, as well as the current situation in the region. The challenges encountered by states resulting from the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and the possibilities for overcoming the latter were also touched upon.
