On January 23, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Marie Chatardová.
The sides exchanged views on the political dialogue between Armenia and the Czech Republic, as well as on the prospects for the deepening economic and multilateral cooperation. Issues related to the participation of the Czech side in the high-level international events planned to be held in Armenia during the current year were discussed.
The interlocutors also addressed the importance of unblocking infrastructure in the South Caucasus region under conditions of established peace, as well as the new economic opportunities emerging in this context.
On the previous day, January 22, the Ambassador Hovakimian also met with the newly appointed Head of the Eastern Europe Department of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Petr Kroužek.
