On October 20, Hayk Khemchyan, Counselor and Head of the Belgrade Office of the Embassy of Armenia, participated in a ceremonial event marking the 81st anniversary of the Liberation of Belgrade, held at the Memorial Complex dedicated to the Liberators of Belgrade.

Hayk Khemchyan laid a wreath at the monument to those who fell during the Liberation of Belgrade, paying tribute to the memory of the city’s liberators, and then visited the graves of the Armenian officers of the Soviet Army: Major Mkrtich Liloyan and Captain Hayrapet Karapetyan, who fell in the battles for Belgrade.

Later the same day, Hayk Khemchyan also attended a commemorative event held on Mount Avala.
