Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the concluding lecture of the lecture series titled "Armenian Sculpture of the Early Christian Period in the Context of Byzantine Art"

On November 22, in Brno, at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the concluding lecture of the lecture series titled "Armenian Sculpture of the Early Christian Period in the Context of Byzantine Art" delivered by Prof. Zaruhi Hakobian, a visiting scholar from Yerevan State University (YSU).

This lecture series were organized within the framework of the cooperation program established between the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University and the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia to the Czech Republic, with the financial support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, aiming to promote awareness of Armenia’s rich cultural heritage.

During the visit, the Ambassador also met with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts Irena Radová to discuss the opportunities for future collaboration. Both parties expressed readiness to strengthen ties and explore new avenues for academic exchange.
