On June 14, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Chairperson of Subcommittee for the Promotion of Democracy and Human Rights Abroad of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Eva Decroix.

The Ambassador briefed the interlocutor on the details of Azerbaijan’s Armenophobic rhetoric, the grave humanitarian situation caused by the blockade of the Lachin corridor and the continuous violations of the fundamental norms of international law, Azerbaijan’s policy to carry out ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh, presented the facts of the violation of the rights of the population due to the attacks of Azerbaijan on the border regions of Armenia. A comprehensive report on human rights violations during the 44-day war was brought to the attention of the Chairperson of the Subcommittee.
