On January 12, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian received at the Embassy the Governor of Moravian-Selesian region of Czechia Ivo Vondrák, who handed over to the Ambassador a symbolic check of region’s donation to purchase electronic equipment for online education of socially disadvantaged children and youth of Armavir Marz.

The possibilities of expanding cooperation between the Moravian-Silesian region and Armavir Marz and the upcoming projects were touched upon.

The Ambassador briefed the interlocutor on the details of Azerbaijan’s blockade of the only road connecting Nagorno Karabakh to Armenia and the rest of the world - the Lachin Corridor, and the resulting humanitarian crisis, the current challenges for the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
