On December 7, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the newly elected First Deputy President of the Senate of the Parliament of Czechia Jiří Drahoš.

Ambassador Hovakimian congratulated Senator Drahoš and wished success and fruitful work in a new position.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the Armenian-Czech bilateral agenda, implemented programs and the prospects of parliamentary cooperation.

The Ambassador presented the consequences of the aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity on September 13, the position of the Armenian side on the processes of settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan and Armenian-Turkish relations.
