On October 31, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian had a meeting with Jan Marian, the newly appointed Special Envoy for the Eastern Partnership of the Czech Foreign Ministry. During the meeting, a detailed reference was made to the prospects of the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union in the EaP format, the course of events and initiatives related to the EaP within the framework of the Czech presidency of the EU Council․

A.Hovakimian profoundly presented to the interlocutor the realities following the Artsakh war, the consequences of Azerbaijan’s aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, and emphasized the necessity of withdrawal of Azerbaijani armed forces from the sovereign territory of Armenia. The Ambassador presented the progress of the work carried out by Armenia to promote the regional peace agenda and the existing challenges.
