Within the framework of the commemoration of the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide the screening of the movie "The Promise" took place in Zagreb

On April 27, in Zagreb, within the framework of the commemoration of the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, under the auspices of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Republic of Croatia Ashot Hovakimian, the Armenian Community of Croatia organized the screening of the American film "The Promise", which was preceded by a reception. Among the participants were Croatian officials, members of Parliament (Sabor), Ambassadors and diplomats of a number of countries, cultural and public figures, many Armenians living in Croatia.

Opening remarks were delivered by Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian and Karine Karibian-Filipovic, representative of the Armenian Community in Croatia. Ambassador referred to the the efforts of the Republic of Armenia, aimed at the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, prevention and condemnation of genocides in the international fora.
