Under the honorary auspices of the Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimian, renown Armenian pianist Vardan Mamikonian performed a piano recital at the Rudolfinum’s Dvořák Hall in Prague

On February 1, under the honorary auspices of the Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimian, renown Armenian pianist Vardan Mamikonian performed a piano recital at the Rudolfinum’s Dvořák Hall in Prague, where he played a series of pieces by Bach, Busoni, Ravel and Chopin. Upon the request of the audience that had so warmly welcomed the artist, as an encore Vardan Mamikonian played Arno Babajanian's improvisation of a piece by Sayat Nova and his own improvisation of Aram Khachaturian’s "Sabre Dance".
