Meeting of Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian with the newly appointed Director General for European Affairs at the Czech MFA

On March 20, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian met with Hana Hubáčková, the newly appointed Director General for Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.

During the meeting, the prospects for further deepening political dialogue between the two countries were discussed. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of ensuring the continuity of regular consultations between their respective Ministries. The parties also touched upon the participation of the Czech side in the high-level international events scheduled to take place in Armenia later this year.

Ambassador Hovakimian presented the latest developments in the South Caucasus region, highlighting ongoing efforts to transform the region into an efficient and secure logistics hub. The Ambassador underscored the importance of implementing the Armenian Government’s “Crossroads of Peace” initiative and its key component, the “TRIPP” project, as a means of promoting regional connectivity and economic development.
