On October 30, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the Sustainable Development Forum 2025 in Belgrade, where discussions focused on how the countries and the companies can remain competitive amid geopolitical tensions, climate change, and rapid technological advancement. Organized in partnership with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Cambridge Judge Business School, the Forum centered on economic resilience, innovation, green strategies, and the development of public–private partnerships.

The same day, Ambassador Hovakimian visited the Belgrade International Book Fair and the permanent exhibition space of EXPO 2027, to be held in Serbia, and was briefed on the ongoing preparations for the world exhibition.

On October 31, Ambassador Hovakimian attended a conference titled “The Importance of European Integration for Security, Education, Innovation, and Ecology”, co-organized by the Ministry of European Integration of Serbia. Opening remarks were delivered by Minister of European Integration Nemanja Starović and Deputy Prime Minister of the Provincial Government of Vojvodina Sandra Božić.

Ambassador Hovakimian also visited the Air Serbia headquarters, where he met with the company’s CEO Jiří Marek to discuss potential areas of cooperation.

Later that day, the Ambassador gave an interview to the Diplomata program of Euronews Serbia.
