Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra concert within the framework of the BEMUS music festival in Belgrade

On October 24, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra concert, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Serbia and held under the auspices of the Armenian Embassy in Serbia, within the framework of the BEMUS music festival in Belgrade. The orchestra was led by the artistic director and chief conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra of Armenia Sergey Smbatyan and the young pianist Eva Gevorgyan performed brilliantly as a soloist.

During the evening Sergei Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 and Dmitri Shostakovich's 10th Symphony were performed.

At the invitation of the Ambassador of Armenia, the Ambassadors of France and Romania to Serbia, Member of the Parliament Ivana Stamatović, Serbian artists and journalists, representatives of the Serbian-Armenian community were present at the concert.

On October 26, the Vojvodina Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Sergey Smbatyan and Eva Gevorgyan also performed at a concert within the framework of the Nomus Music Festival in Novi Sad, which was attended by Hayk Khemchyan, Counsellor and Head of the Belgrade office of the Embassy of Armenia in Prague.
