Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian in Ljubljana had meetings at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia

On October 4, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian in Ljubljana had meetings at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovenia with Director-General for Political Affairs Mateja Norčič Štamcar, Director-General for Multilateral Cooperation Božena Forštnarič Boroje, newly appointed Head of the Department for Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia Andreja Purkart Martinez.

On the same day Ambassador Hovakimian was received by Director-General of Defence Policy Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Slovenia Roland Žel and Director of the Center for Excellence in Finance (CEF) Jana Repanšek.

Ambassador Hovakimian presented the security situation in the South Caucasus, the latest developments in the normalisation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

During the meetings, the prospects of further activation and expansion of bilateral relations, including the organization of high-level visits, developments in the South Caucasus and the Western Balkans, and cooperation on international platforms were discussed.
