А tribute dedicated to Charles Aznavour's 100th birthday took place at the French Institute in Prague

On October 1, a tribute dedicated to Charles Aznavour's 100th birthday took place at the French Institute in Prague. The event was organized by the Embassies of Armenia and France in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the French Institute. Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimian and French Ambassador to the Czech Republic Stéphane Crouzat made opening remarks, which were followed by the screening of documentary “Aznavour and his world” and concert of Richard Ihuel and Tomas Jochmann, who performed the Aznavour’s most popular songs.

Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the Czech Republic, representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as prominent figures of Czech civil society, science, culture and the Armenian community participated in the event.
