On February 25, within the framework of the working visit to Croatia, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian met with Frano Matušić, the State Secretary for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a wide range of issues of the Armenian-Croatian agenda, particularly emphasizing joint efforts towards enhancement of bilateral meetings and mutual visits on different levels and political consultations. They praised the cooperation in the international organizations, as well as in the framework of Armenia-European Union cooperation and within the EU Eastern Partnership.

Ambassador stressed the need to restore the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process in the framework of the Co-Chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group and the imperative of the immediate return of the Armenian prisoners of war.
