On May 2, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Commissioner for Human Rights of Czechia Klára Šimáčková Laurenčíková. The Ambassador briefed the interlocutor on the details of Azerbaijan’s Armenophobic rhetoric, the grave humanitarian situation caused by the blockade of the Lachin corridor and the continuous violations of the fundamental norms of international law, Azerbaijan’s policy to carry out ethnic cleansing in Nagorno-Karabakh. A comprehensive report on human rights violations during the 44-day war was brought to the attention of the Commissioner.
