Meeting of the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

On April 10, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian visited the President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Tomio Okamura. The interlocutors discussed the main directions of the bilateral agenda, with particular emphasis on the strengthening interparliamentary cooperation and expanding the existing political dialogue between Armenia and the Czech Republic.

The Ambassador briefed Tomio Okamura on the developments in the South Caucasus following the Washington agreements, including initiatives aimed at unblocking regional infrastructure, in particular, the Armenian Government’s “Crossroads of Peace” project. The sides exchanged views on key developments on the international agenda and discussed issues of mutual interest in the context of a changing geopolitical environment.
