On the Victory Day, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian laid a wreath at the Monument of the Red Army soldiers who fell during the liberation of Czechoslovakia

On May 9, on the Victory Day, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian laid a wreath at the Monument of the Red Army soldiers who fell during the liberation of Czechoslovakia. Ambassador also paid tribute to the Armenian soldier of the Soviet Army Aleksandr Kostadyan, who was martyred during the war.

Hayk Khemchyan, Counselor and Head of the Belgrade Office of the Embassy, laid a wreath on behalf of the Embassy, at the monument dedicated to those who fell during the liberation of Belgrade, as part of the solemn ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The event was attended by Ana Brnabić, Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia. Hayk Khemchyan also paid tribute to the Armenian officers of the Soviet Army - Major Mkrtich Liloyan and Captain Hayrapet Karapetyan, who were martyred during the war.
