Ambassador Hovakimian had meetings with the Head of the Croatia-Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group and the Group members

On January 29, Ambassador Hovakimian had meetings with the Head of the Croatia-Armenia Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, Dario Pušić and the Group members, the Vice President of the Croatian Parliament Furio Radin, the Chairwoman of the Committee on European Affairs Jelena Miloš. Topics of continuing and further activating parliamentary cooperation were discussed.

Ambassador Hovakimian presented the security situation in the South Caucasus, the position of the Armenian side regarding the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the “Crossroad of Peace’’ project developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Referring to the draft bill “On the launch of the process of Armenia’s accession to the EU” Ambassador noted that the positive conclusion given by the Government of Armenia was in line with the dynamics of deepening cooperation between Armenia and the EU and its member states, as well as with the European aspirations of Armenia’s citizens.
