Within the “Dvořákova Praha 2022” Music Festival, at the Rudolfinum, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the opening concert performance of “Rusalka” (Mermaid) opera by the prominent Czech composer Antonín Dvořák

On September 19, within the “Dvořákova Praha 2022” Music Festival, at the Rudolfinum, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian attended the opening concert performance of “Rusalka” (Mermaid) opera by the prominent Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. The lead role was performed by renowned Lithuanian-Armenian soprano Asmik Grigorian, whose brilliant performance received a rapturous 10 minutes standing ovation from the Czech audience.

Within the framework of the Festival, the three performances of the "Mermaid" opera with Asmik Grigorian and conducted by the chief conductor of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra Semyon Bichkov, are held under the patronage of the Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimian and the Ambassador of Lithuania Laimonas Talat-Kelpsa.
