On August 29-30, Ambassador of Armenia to Slovenia Ashot Hovakimian participated in the Bled Strategic Forum, which was held under the slogan "The Rule of Power or the Power of Rules?".

Within the framework of the Forum, Ambassador held a meeting with Samuel Žbogar, the State Secretary for Political and Multilateral Affairs, Economic Diplomacy and Development Cooperation of the Slovenian Foreign Ministry. A wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, the prospects of high-level mutual visits and political consultations, the situation in the region and the latest developments were discussed.

Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian also had meetings with the European Commissioner for Crisis Management Janez Lenarčič and the newly appointed US Ambassador to Slovenia Jamie L. Harpootlian.
