On June 16-17 Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian paid a working visit to the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. In Ostrava the Ambassador was received by the Governor of the Region Ivo Vondrák, who presented a general overview of the Moravian-Silesian region, the main spheres of the Region’s economic development and the currently faced challenges. The Ambassador briefed his counterpart on the latest developments and current situation around Armenia and Artsakh. The parties touched upon the possibilities of the further expansion of cooperation between the Moravian-Silesian Region and its partner Armavir Marz in Armenia and outlined the forthcoming programs.
