Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian together with the Vice Rector of Ostrava University Renáta Tomášková officially opened the 3-day conference on the “Art of the Armenian Diaspora”

On June 16, within the working visit to the Moravian-Silesian Region, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian together with the Vice Rector of Ostrava University Renáta Tomášková officially opened the 3-day conference on the “Art of the Armenian Diaspora”, organized jointly by the Faculty of Arts of Ostrava University and the Polish Institute of World Art Studies and held under the honorary auspices of the Ambassador of Armenia to the Czech Republic. The Vice Rector and the Ambassador highly praised the convening of such a conference, whilst the Ambassador especially pointed out the significance of covering such a topic considering the recent encroachments on the cultural values of the Armenian people. On June 17 Ambassador A.Hovakimian participated in the round-table discussions on the International Cooperation on the Art of the Armenian Diaspora.
