On January 10, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was hosted by the newly elected Chairman of the Committee on Security of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Pavel Žáček. The parties touched upon the prospects of the development of the Armenian-Czech bilateral relations, the necessity of intensifying the cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries, the threats and the new challenges for international security. The Ambassador presented the information on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the consequences of Azerbaijan's aggression, Azerbaijan's continuous encroachments on Armenia's territorial integrity and ceasefire violations.
