On July 8, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Montenegro Ashot Hovakimian held a video meeting with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Montenegro, Chairman of the newly established Montenegro-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Branka Bošnjak. In the history of the Montenegrin-Armenian relations, this is a first time that such Group of Friendship was created on June 1, 2021. The Group is composed of the 6 Members of the Parliament from the different parties.

The strengthening of parliamentary ties in bilateral and multilateral formats, the activation of relations between the sister cities Podgorica and Yerevan, organization of the joint cultural events were discussed.
