On June 10-12 Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian paid working visits to the South Moravian and Zlin regions of the Czech Republic

On June 10-12 Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian paid working visits to the South Moravian and Zlin regions of the Czech Republic, where the Ambassador visited Brno and Uherský Brod, held a number of working meetings and took part in the festive events of the traveling exhibition dedicated to Armenia, Armenian historical-cultural heritage and prominent personalities, held under the auspices of the Embassy.

In the city of Brno, the center of the South Moravian region, on June 10 Ambassador A.Hovakimian was hosted by the President of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic Pavel Rychetský, with whom the Ambassador had the opportunity to discuss the agenda of bilateral cooperation, the process of legal reforms in Armenia, as well as the recent developments in the region and the humanitarian challenges.

On June 11 Ambassador A.Hovakimian was received by the Governor of the South Moravian region Jan Grolich. The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation between the regions of the two countries.

On June 12 Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian visited the town of Uherský Brod in the Zlin region, where he was received by the Mayor of Uherský Brod Ferdinand Kubáník. The parties referred to the connection between the two peoples and spoke about the opportunities for cooperation. On the same day Uherský Brod celebrated a day of Armenian culture under the auspices of the Ambassador of Armenia, the Governor of the Zlin region Radim Holiš and the Mayor of Uherský Brod Ferdinand Kubáník.
