On April 26 Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian was received by the Deputy of the Cabinet Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Michaela Marksová. The Ambassador briefed the Deputy Minister on the course of the Artsakh war and the new realities in the region resulting from the latter, touched upon the post-war humanitarian challenges, including the imperatives of the release of Armenian prisoners of war, the provision of humanitarian aid to the people of Artsakh and the protection of endangered Armenian historical-cultural heritage, as well as the possibilities of overcoming the obstacles pertinent to the issues discussed.
