Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian held meetings with Stanislav Raščan and Gašper Dovžan, the State Secretaries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia

On February 23-24, within the framework of the working visit to Slovenia, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian had meetings with Stanislav Raščan and Gašper Dovžan, the State Secretaries of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.

During the meetings the parties discussed the various issues of the bilateral agenda, highlighted the importance of further enhancement and promotion of bilateral relations, organization of high-level visits, holding the political consultations between the Foreign Ministries. The interlocutors praised the cooperation in the international organizations, as well as in the framework of Armenia-European Union cooperation and within the EU Eastern Partnership.

Ambassador stressed the need to restore the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process in the framework of the Co-Chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group and the imperative of the immediate return of the Armenian prisoners of war.
