On the 4th of December, 2017, Mr. Vahan Martirosyan, Minister of Transport, Communication and Information technologies of Armenia, received H.E. Mr. Petr Mikyska, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Armenia and Mr. Daniel Adamka, CEO of the  “Arriva Czech Republic” company. 
The Ambassador introduced the Czech model of the transport system operation to the Minister and the role of “Arriva” company in it and hoped for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Mr. Daniel Adamka detailed the company’s activity, means of transportation they possess (buses with different capacity and are operated in more than 14 European countries).   Besides the production of buses, they also develop new technological means of transport. He also expressed a wish to be involved in the implementation of the envisaged transport system in Armenia.
Mr. Vahan Martirosyan mentioned that it was planned to change also the transport system management of Armenia and he would be glad if the company “Arriva” participated in the tender for the pilot program planned to be held in one of the Armenia’s regions.
The Minister proposed to present a program after the relevant researches and then to continue the discussions in concrete directions of cooperation.
