On January 5, 2018 we mark 25 years of establishing diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Czech Republic. On this important occasion the President of Armenia H.E. Mr. Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the Czech Republic H.E. Mr. Miloš Zeman have exchanged the congratulatory letters.

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the executive director of “Arriva” company Daniel Adamka. “Arriva” is one of the largest transport operators of Europe. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Czech Republic in the RA Petr Mikyska was present at the meeting too.

On October 4, the RA NA President Ara Babloyan received the delegation headed by the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch. The members of the RA NA Armenia-Czech Republic Friendship Group, Heads of the RA NA factions and the Committee Chairs took part in the meeting.

On October 4, within the framework of the visit of the President of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch in Armenia-Marriott Hotel an Armenian-Czech Business Forum was held, and the RA NA Vice President, the Head of the RA NA Armenia-Czech Republic Friendship Group Eduard Sharmazanov and the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch attended the opening.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received a delegation led by President of the Senate of Czech Republic Milan Štěch. President Serzh Sargsyan received today President of the Senate of Parliament of the Czech Republic Milan Štěch. Welcoming the guest, the President of Armenia said to have kept warm memories of the meeting held with Milan Štěch as part of his State visit to the Czech Republic in 2014. Serzh Sargsyan expressed the hope that the Czech Senate President’s visit would be fruitful and might strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries, and Mr. Štěch would feel the same warmth and friendship he has always shown to Armenia’s representatives during their visits to the Czech Republic.
